Q: How long can students keep a book checked out?
A: Elementary students may keep a book checked out for one week; middle and high school students may keep books checked out for two weeks at a time.
Q: How many books can a student check out at a time?
A: Elementary students may check out one book at a time; middle and high school students may check out two books at a time.
Q: What happens if a student turns a book in late?
A: The student is not allowed to check out another book until that book is returned. Be courteous and turn your book in on time. Students are allowed to renew their books as well.
Q: What happens if a student loses a library book or his or her dog eats it?
A: The student will be responsible for replacing the book or paying the cost to replace the book. Also, your dog might get a stomach ache :( Keep books out of reach from pets and younger siblings!
Q: Can students & parents donate books to the media center?
A: Yes, we welcome donations! Please be sure to see the media center's policy for accepting donated books (under "Help NCS Library" heading).
